Saturday, April 20, 10 am- 3 pm, Jubilee Farm is coming to Once in a Blue Moon International Gift Gallery! Anita Cleary, OP from Jubilee Farm will demonstrate how raw alpaca fiber is carded and spun. Handmade woven products will be available for purchase.

Rose Marie Riley, OP will be on hand to explain more about Jubilee Farm: its events, alpacas, llamas, chemical-free gardens, labyrinth and more.

Spring Seedling Sale 2019
Location: 6760 Old Jacksonville Road, New Berlin, IL 62670

Beginning April 15, 2019, we have plants for sale. The staff will be focused on the General Chapter meeting of the Springfield Dominicans the week of Sunday, April 21- Sunday, April 28. After the short break, we will begin selling plants again April 29.

We will NOT be selling plants April 22 to 28, 2019.

Vegetable plants will be sold at the beginning of May.

Welcome! Norman Pearson and Sister Suzanne Donner, OP painting and working on gardens back in 2016. Sister Suzanne’s annual seedling sale brings a lot of people to the farm each spring. Over the spring and summer Sister Suzanne will be working with sisters, associates and volunteers that “Adopt a Garden” around the grounds at Jubilee Farm. Norman now works at the motherhouse in Springfield.

Join Us for a Bird Banding Event at Jubilee Farm!

You are invited to participate in a bird banding event at Jubilee Farm.

Saturday, May 18, 2019
8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Tony Rothering, a licensed bird bander with Lincoln Land Association of Bird Banders (LLABB) will be capturing and banding birds during this family friendly event. (Weather permitting)

Participants will learn about the scientific process of banding and how the data is used to study bird population dynamics and the impact of habitat change on the diversity and density of bird species.
