You are invited to participate in a bird banding event at Jubilee Farm.

Saturday, May 18, 2019
8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Tony Rothering, a licensed bird bander with Lincoln Land Association of Bird Banders (LLABB) will be capturing and banding birds during this family friendly event. (Weather permitting)

Participants will learn about the scientific process of banding and how the data is used to study bird population dynamics and the impact of habitat change on the diversity and density of bird species.

Jubilee Farm is located 3.8 miles west of Veterans Parkway in Springfield, Illinois. 6760 Old Jacksonville Road

Join Anita Cleary, OP in the kitchen at Jubilee Farm! Come and experiment with new and tasty recipe options for summer and fall produce.

Bring a friend, an apron, and your appetite!

The $50.00 registration fee includes ingredients, recipes and lunch.
Lunch will be the sharing of participants’ baking and cooking.

After lunch there will be time for asking questions, looking at recipes, and purchasing herb, flower and vegetable seedlings. If time permits there will be opportunity to walk the trails.

Weaving a Holiday Gift

November 1-3, 2019

Center for Creative Arts at Jubilee Farm

Looms will be prepared for you!

Choose your hours to come between the hours listed below, starting at noon on Friday, Nov 1 and ending at 3:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon, Nov 3. You will receive instructions on how to create your own gift, working at your own pace during the hours of

Friday 12:00 noon to 8:30 p.m.
Saturday 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Sunday 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

All projects must be started by noon on Saturday. Project size and type is dependent upon available looms. Looms will be assigned in the order that registrations are received.

Limited to 12 participants

Registration & Non Refundable Deposit Required

Cost per person is $125.00 for table top looms, $150 for floor looms.
($175 for 12 harness loom)

Non-refundable deposit of $40 is required, applied towards total.

Registrations accepted through September 23, 2019.

Ages 16 and under require accompanying adult.
Bring a snack to share. Leave for meals or bring in your own food. Refrigerator and microwave are available.
